Come to the Web PATH Center, Inc. Annual Dinner!
The Annual Dinner November 4th is our annual meeting as a not for profit corporation, a legal requirement for any corporation. We make it fun and tasty! Join us 11/4/07 at about 3 pm (to be confirmed) at the Wolcott Village Restaurant on New Hartford St. for an afternoon of great food, Mystic Faire Readings, a 50/50 raffle and maybe a Silent Auction for a big ticket item or two. Come and be surprised! Children are welcome.
Dinner Tickets in advance are $15. The menu is still being negotiating cuz we are holding out for Turkey, but the prices may be too high at the $15 gate. In that case we will have a pork loin and a vegetarian option. At the door, the tickets will be between $18-$20 so get your ticket money in!! There are children’s/smaller portion meal tickets as well for $12. See Anemone at the Web for tickets.
On the Agenda:
1. Election of Council Members. Full terms are for 2 years. A Council member can hold office for 3 consecutive terms and then must sit out at least 2 years.
There arte 5 slots open. Candidates have yet to be announced.
Finishing out their terms and eligible for 1 more term 2007-2009:
-
Eric Reynolds, re elected for 2nd term in 2005, is up for election in 2007
-
Marie Taber, re elected in 2005 for 2nd term, is up for election in 2007
-
Peg Davidson re elected in 2005 for 2nd term, is up for election in 2007
Finishing out her term and eligible for 2 more terms
There is one vacancy for a 1 year term (2007-2008) to fill in for a resignation received this year.
Council Officers are chosen by the council at their 1st meeting. The reasoning for this: The Council works as a committee of the Whole, seeking consensus and agreement whenever possible. This is a different way of doing things because we are experimenting with ways to empower people and increase their participation as pagans in the 21st century. Ideally, the administration of the Web is a collective operation and no one person pulls all the load. I can’t say that is as effective as it might be, but it is our goal!
2. Annual Director’s Report
3. Annual Fiscal Report
4. Proposed Budget
The proposals and discussion of fundraising and next year’s programs happens January 1st at the New Year’s Web Gathering on Galen Rd. Bring a dish to pass for that, and come as you are. 2 pm to 7 pm.
