Presented by Webweaver, Merlin, And the WEB Apprentices and Journey workers

Suggested Reading:  Select 1

Shamans of the World by Nancy Connor—Buy through One Spirit—The Amazon edition is outrageously expensive.  Not sure why.  A series of essays in their own words of tribal shamanic healers.

Dance of Stones: A Shamanic Road Trip by Kenn Day.  The author is a fellow I met at Starwood years ago.  He used to edit a shamanic magazine Mezlim.  Great mind, sound intellect, deep spirit.

Weather Shamans by Nan Moss and Dan Corbin. (Shamanic Intensive III 9/25-26/2009)  (These writers are the teachers for seminars approved by Mike Harner’s Foundation for Shamanic Studies.  Very personable.)

The Class conduct a shamanic Equinox Ritual Saturday night for the Web.

All Web Shamanic Intensives are offered at $5 to cover the cost of the materials as part of our spiritual gift to you.   In return, do the reading and preparation requested.   It is appropriate to honor your teachers as you are led.  We have our four legged brothers and sisters in residence (cats).  Bring outdoor clothing in case you are wandering among the spirits of the Land.   Always bring food to share for meal time; a menu will be posted.  At Galen Road consider what you need in order to use the hot tub.  Clothing is optional.  Towels are provided.

Seminar Syllabus:

The Web is presenting an advanced shamanic experience September 25-26 called Living Inner Visions. It will be offered as a 2-day schedule running all day Saturday 9/25 from 10 am with a ritual in the evening and 10-4 on Sunday (breakfast is at 9 am).

We have as objectives:

  1. Refresh our understanding of the shamanic practices of upper and lower world journeys including connections with animal allies, plant spirits and spirit guides to guide us in our work this weekend.

  1. Expand the Journey experiences of shamanic practitioners to include journeys of connection with the Universal Consciousness, Source of All Being and Higher Self in order to understand how we are indeed One.

  1. To enter the Journey to Death with a contract to return followed by a discussion of hospital and hospice work from a shamanic perspective.

  1. To consider the nature of a shamanic life in daily practice as evidenced in the selected readings and how that would alter our daily experiences.

  1. To prepare to teach, lead shamanic circles and classes with the assistance of drumming guides and spirit beings.

Bring drums rattles and your shamanic journey notebook.  You may commute; stay over in the house or camp.  Bring healthy food and snacks for pot luck lunch and dinner.  We will provide coffee, teas, spring water, eggs, condiments, potatoes or rice, and seasonal veggies.  We need bread, bagels, rolls, meat or casserole, cheese, salads, snacks (fruit, celery etc.)  Try to avoid prepared foods and beverages with high fructose corn syrup.  Think about what the Equinox Ritual should look like.
