8 Sabbats Celebrate the Wheel of the Year

 

Samhain:  The Feast of the Ancestors is celebrated with Scrying Meditations and Mediumship

Yule:  The Winter Solstice is celebrated with the story of the Wheel of the Year, Pagan Carols and the GiveAway Blanket

Imbolc:  The Feast of Brigid is celebrated with candle magick and knot magick

Lady Day or Ostara:  Spring Equinox is celebrated with the story of Demeter and Persephone, spell eggs and plant spirit magick

Beltane:  May Day is celebrated with the May Pole Dance and the symbolic Great Rite

Litha or Summer Solstice:  is celebrated by Drawing Down the Sun into the representative for Apollo who together with Juno enter the Inner Court to speak with the celebrants privately, offering advice, warnings and blessings.  The Web drums and sings during this audience, our roles in this ritual are set by drawing tarot cards.

Lughnasadh or Lammas:  The Feast of Lugh is celebrated with harvest magick, a wickerman and corn dollies

Mabon:  Fall Equinox is celebrated with stories of balance, challenges and wisdom, and the ritual of the balance scales
