Classes & Workshops

Classes & Workshops

The Web is a magical, teaching non-profit organization.  All Web Classes are offered at a modest materials fee of $5 and shared food; unless they are announced fundraisers.  This is The Web’s way of sharing the wealth of knowledge in the community.  In return, do the reading and preparation requested.

We offer on occasion fundraising workshops in beading, collage, basketry, candles, soaps, needlework, and other arts as the teachers are inspired and the students appear.  Let us know if there are any workshops you would be interested in taking through The Web.

We also take volunteer teachers for whatever you feel you want to teach or help teach at The Web.  Your time and assistance is always welcome in developing and extending The Web program.

We offer adults four levels of classes and initiations in Wicca .
I. To Know Wicca (Initiation of the Priest and Priestess)
II. To Will the Magick (Initiation of the Healer)
III. To Dare the Transformation (Initiation of the Story Teller)
IV. To Keep Silent (Initiation of Witch and Sage)

And three levels of Weekend Intensives in Shamanism
I.    Opening Inner Visions – 2007
II.   Living Inner Visions – 2008
III.  Becoming Inner Visions – 2009

Healing Intensives

In lieu of our Healing Monday being open by appointment only;  and great interest in Alternative Healing Modalities being shown by Web members, we are offering Healing Intensives.  These Quarterly Intensives will be offered on Sundays 10am4pm @ The Web in Clyde, NY.  They will offer a day of ‘training’ in a particular field of Alternative Healing Modalities.  These intensives will be taught by Web Members whom have trained and studied in these modalities.  Some teachers may be ‘licensed professionals’ from outside Web Membership, but are known and recommended by members.  Healing Intensives require Pre-Registration  and a $5 materials fee for each session.  A dish to pass for the communal kitchen is also requested.

Astrology/Astronomy Circle

Astrology/Astronomy Circle – a Saturday night to sit back with friends/family, watch the stars and learn more about them Astrologically and Astronomically.  Come and enjoy the stars with this Web Circle.  Enjoy the great country stars of Galen Road in the sunroom or weather permitting out of doors.  Share your knowledge, learn some new stuff.

This new circle will be facilitated by Ravija (Darcy) and other members wishing to help out.  All are encouraged to research the pieces of astrology that interest them and have relevance that month and then share over supper.  Kind of like a conversational casual get-together…Then we could move outdoors (or to the cozy sunroom on those especially chilly or rainy nights!)…or…we could ritualize it to focus on the energies…it could all be flexible!  Bring a dish to pass for supper.

This will be Saturdays 5pm @ The Web 4030 Galen Road; Clyde, NY 14433.  Contact Ravija (Darcy) for more info.

Teachers, healers, priests and priestesses are not paid as clergy at The Web.  We believe our work is to share what Spirit has taught us.  However, it is always appropriate to honor your teachers with a thoughtful gift from the heart.
