It is easy to go blindly in life, taking for our own needs and desires.  It takes effort to reach beyond ourselves and give to another unconditionally.  But it takes just that effort to make a difference, to make a better world, not just for those who are here now, but for those who will come after we are gone.  For it is true that we do not live in this world all alone.  We need to be aware of what kind of footprints we leave.
