Kai

Michelle Minier (Kai)

Council Member & Prison Ministry Chair

My magical name is Kai (Ki).  It is a Navajo name meaning Willow Tree which has been a favorite tree of mine for as long as I can remember.  I came to the Web in ’05 and have felt at home ever since.  I currently head up the Prison Ministry committee and with a few other people we write to around 35 inmates.  We provide the inmates guidance and support in their spiritual path.

I’m the mother of two wonderful children and am also attending college for art education.  I also sub at a special ed. BOCES program.  I feel raising my children as Wiccan teaches them to be much more accepting of people of different races and religious beliefs.  They are well rounded children who have been exposed to many different experiences.  We love to go hiking, camping, skiing/snowboarding, and swimming together.  My children are very comfortable in the outdoors.

We strive to learn more about our spiritual path and how to be better to Mother Earth.  After all, she has allowed us to dwell upon her.
