Full Moon Circles & Sabbats:
The Web holds Full Moon Circles on the Friday night nearest the Full Moon and the Sabbats the Saturday nearest the Solstice, Equinox and Cross Quarter days. Some are combined due to closeness and busy times. Creation of the ritual and leadership is rotated among those who have volunteered as ritualists. Since some ritualists invite us to their homes and back yards for these celebrations, check with The Web to know what is happening where each month. We do include children in our programming and offer children's workshops and rituals concurrent with many of The Web activities. For the children we emphasize training in grounding, energy work, ethics , etc.

The Web is a magical, teaching non-profit organization offering on occasion fundraising workshops in beading, collage, basketry, candles, soaps, needlework, and other arts as the teachers are inspired and the students appear.   We also offer some recurring classes in Wicca, Shamanism and Tarot Classes and events at The Web are free or low cost to cover expenses. Teachers, healers , priests and priestesses are not paid as clergy at The Web. We believe our work is to share what Spirit has taught us. However, it is always appropriate to honor your teachers with a thoughtful gift from the heart.

Your time and assistance is always welcome in developing and extending The Web program.  Let us know if there are any workshops you would be interested in taking through The Web.

Shamanic Journeying, Drum Circles :
There are Shamanic Journeying, Drum Circles held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. From 2pm - 4pm or 5pm. This is an open circle of people practicing core shamanism similar to Harner's Foundation for Shamanic Studies . We use repetitive drum beats to enter trance and journey to the upper, lower or middle worlds for healing, training, to gain information from our guides, etc. We usually can get 2 journeys in along with teaching and sharing personal experiences. Bring a notebook to record your journeys, frame drum or rattle if you have them, eye shield (optional), and floor pallet (if you don't want to journey sitting up). Beginners are welcome. (Not appropriate for children under 10. )

Mystic Faire:

We also offer a quarterly Mystic Faire fundraiser currently held at the Lyons Community Center this past spring.  $10 at the door secures a reading and a mini Reiki session. Additional services are added as you wish (for an additional $5 each). The Web offers supervised free children's activities (coloring, crafts, etc.) while adults are getting readings (donations are welcomed), and have a few vendors in the hallway.   This is a Web fundraiser that benefits The Web in helping keep future workshops, festivals, etc. reasonably priced.

Currently our Mystic Faire's are on hiatus.  We have recently been informed the location we use (Lyons Community Center) no longer has weekend hours.  Therefore we are currently checking into other locations.  Stay tuned for more info.
