A-Mazing Tarot Intensive II:  Tarot Symbols, Numbers, & Patterns

The Web’s Intermediate Tarot Course

August 8 – 9, 2009

Located at the Web 4030 Galen Rd. Clyde NY

So you know how to shuffle the deck.  You can explain the difference between the major and minor Arcana.  You have your favorite cards and a few you hate to see in your own readings.  What’s next?

Join us for an intermediate intensive workshop in which you will be challenged to become a better reader (one who helps the individual client see how to avoid the unwanted and embrace change), to re-consider the ethics of Tarot including when not to say what you see, and to engage your own creativity in designing new tarot spreads, seeing patterns and interconnections among the cards in a spread, and learning how to help the client understand the concept of a future.

We will focus on:

  • How to be a better tarot reader using memory tricks, symbolism, numerology
  • How to offer bad news and when to keep your own secrets.
  • How to help the client out of a mess without getting stuck yourself.

There is a Level III class which includes non tarot decks, the Kabala and Astrology connections and tarot magic spells as well.  Experienced readers, if you are interested in that Advanced Class, ask the program committee.  Thanks!

All Web courses are offered at a cost of $5 materials fee as part of our spiritual gift to you.   In return, do the reading and preparation requested.   It is appropriate to honor your teachers or the Web as you are led.  We have our four legged brothers and sisters in residence (dogs or cats).  Always bring food to share for meal time.  At Galen Road consider what you need in order to use the hot tub.  Clothing is optional.  Towels are provided.

Seminar Syllabus:

It will be offered with a 2-day schedule running all day Saturday 10 am to 5 pm and 10am to 4 pm on Sunday (breakfast is at 9 am).

We have as objectives:

                1.  To introduce readers to their significator and tarot guide through a group meditation and as preparation to channeling information during a reading.

                2.  To discuss the ethics of divinatory readings, practicing how to offer challenging news from the reading, and deciding when to withhold information.

                3.  To expand the Tarot connections with the Major Arcana by studying these 22 cards from the point of view of one’s personal evolution and history.

                4.  To interact with the 32 face cards as individuals known to us in our ordinary realities.

                5.  To offer insight into the relationship between cards and their position in a reading,  their numbers and symbols.

                6.  To practice reading for ourselves and others!
