WICCA IV: TO KEEP SILENT!
THE WEB'S ADVANCED COURSE IN ECLECTIC WICCA
The class will take place over 5 weekends
LOCATED AT THE WEB 4030 GALEN RD. CLYDE NY
1st weekend will take place October 9th – 10th, 2009
2nd weekend January 8th – 10th, 2010
PREREQUISITE: YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE WEB'S WICCA II AND WICCA III
Wicca IV is much more of a collaborative effort than previous classes. I believe we have all reached a place where we can help each other extend into The Mysticism Of The Silence. This is an area of Wicca that is not well explored so we will be breaking ground. I will ask you to select carefully several books, video or CD's in preparation for each of the 5 weekends that make up this course. For each one, you will need to complete a study guide which focuses your attention on the course content so you can talk about what you learned from your sources when we discuss the topic in class. People who choose the same book are encouraged to work together.
Don't be afraid of the reading list . It is long cuz you get choices.
At that time you register you will be added to a closed Yahoo Group List that will be made up of just the Wicca IV class. We will use the yahoo group to keep on task over the year it will take to complete Wicca IV, to develop partnerships and work groups for some of the assignments, and to tell stories of ourselves as we seek out the Silence.
There will be follow up activities for you to complete during each quarter. These are designed to stimulate your creativity and deepen your spiritual practice. You will need to keep a journal to track your progress and messages from Spirit. If you hate to write, you can put it on computer, or dictate it into a tape recorder. You will be asked to discuss your journal, but you will not be asked to hand it over! It is yours to keep silent about, if you wish.
